Welcome to Pernese Friends! Our virtual home away from home, where we gather our Pernese family together for talk, fun, or just sharing news. Be warned, the outsanity often goes far beyond what insanity ever dreamed of. We are all fans of Anne McCaffrey, writer of many wonderful novels, such as the best selling "Dragonriders of Pern" series. Come join us as we plot to meet each other in person (or perhaps meet up with Anne herself!), kick back and relax, or keep in touch. We have forums for various interests, including, but not only: Headquarters, THE place to be for general chatter, Writers' Block, for your posting and critiquing needs, our Bookshelf, and the Interactive Center, for sharing anything from recipes to artwork. We also play host to such clubs as the Hellkats of WAM and the Dragonlords of the Saethe. Other clubs whose origins lie within McCaffrey fandom may also apply for a forum of their own. We are currently linked up to the MSN Pernese Friends photo album. It's nice to put faces to those names you've been seeing for ages. Also feel free to join us in our Chat Room!
